Research
An OREO weighs 11.4 grams. the way I found out was i got a scale and i weighed an average OREO.
Problem
If you dropped an OREO from one hundred centimeters, what is the average amount of splatter that spreads?
Hypothesis
My hypothesis is that an Oreos break length will be at least 20 cm. because I know that the Oreo weighs something and it will break!!
Materials
Scale, Oreos, Pencil, Hard surface, Notebook or paper, 1 Yard stick
Procedure

1. First you have to gather 5 Oreos and a yard stick
2. Then you have to find a tile floor to drop the Oreo on.
3. Then you drop one Oreo on the hard surface and use the yard stick to measure how far the splatter stretched.
4. Then you record your data in a notebook or a piece of paper.
5. Repeat these steps 4 more times.
6. Then record how many inches the splatter stretched each time you did it the same notebook you used before.
7. After that, you have to find the average (to find the average you have to add the amount of each splatter, and then you have to divide it by 5 you can use a calculator to make this a little easier)
8. Then you have to make a graph to record your data (I recommend you use a line graph)
9. You have to make sure you can clarify your graph.
10. You are finished with the project
